About NARI
The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to enhancing and supporting the remodeling industry and providing resource information and assistance to consumers requiring the services of a qualified remodeler.
Members of NARI are full-service contractors, design/build firms, subcontractors, lenders and other professionals who work in the remodeling field. To become a NARI member, applicants are required to have a minimum of one year in the business and are subject to a thorough screening and ethics review.
NARI also offers a certification program, which provides the remodeling industry with a formalized standard of expertise, knowledge and ethical conduct among professional remodelers. Members must have at least five years of hands-on experience in the remodeling industry before they can become certified.
Homeowners have come to rely on NARI to ensure that the remodeling contractors they choose are professional and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of honesty, integrity and responsibility. Membership in NARI tells homeowners that the remodeling contractors they are hiring have made a strong commitment to the professionalism and integrity of the remodeling industry.
Further, NARI members have access to the latest industry information through publications, educational programs and seminars, and they participate in regular networking events.
